Vital Wolves moderator Wolf Man wrote the following article after the win over Tottenham:
During the build up to last night's game we had some confident Spurs fans posting on the Vital Wolves front pages but last night they all appear to have gone into hiding?
Akela got it spot on in one of his articles pre match writing on Tuesday: 'Every side has a bogey team and perhaps this season, we can be Tottenham's.
McCarthy has already tactically out thought Redknapp once this season and if he manages it again, we should get back out of the bottom three.'
I happened to believe him and was on the receiving end of a few comments from over confident Spurs fans:
'What odds is seriously deluded Wolf Man offering? Could do with some easy money but presumably Care in the Community will block him.' oldun
Thankfully for oldun I didn't take his money, I opted for his pride instead.
'Sorry Wolves i hope you stay up but your azz is ours this time' gabotheyido
Oh really Gabo?
And my two favourites:
'we have to win this one or 4th place is history lets hope its a decent game COYS' mabbuttalegend
'Spurs will win as we have to for our top 4 aspirations.'mysonwill playforus
I`m guessing those dreams of the Champions League are over then Spurs fans!
Thanks ever so much for the six points, same again next season???
