Iwelumo makes debut for Bristol City
31-year-old striker Chris Iwelumo has made his debut for Bristol City after joining them on loan.
The Scottish striker has made just eight Premier League appearances this season after recovering from a broken foot picked up during pre season.
Iwelumo played the full 90 minutes against Sheffield United yesterday, but his new side lost 2-0.
"We`re delighted to be able to bring Chris in.
"He will add vital experience to our strike-force and he`ll provide a presence up top as well.' Bristol City boss Gary Johnson told the Sunday Mercury.
Johnson also indicated that the possibility of extending his move could also be an option.
He added: "We`ve managed to bring him here for a month initially and we`ll take it from there."
