Waiting game for Wolves injured players

Waiting game for Wolves injured players

Dave Edwards, Andy Keogh and Michael Kightly are all set to see specialists for their injuries.

All three had ankle injuries at the end of the year and will now visit their surgeons for an update on their current progress.

'They are all going down - Kights is going down - three or four of them, the ones who have had operations,' said Mick to Wolves Official Website.

It looks likely that Keogh is leading the way to a return to action with McCarthy adding: 'They are going to see their respective surgeons although Andy is out there on the training pitch kicking balls.'

On Kightly he added: 'There is concern about him for the immediate month or so but not for him beyond that, not at all - there is no long term concern.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Would be good to get some good news for once, especially for Kights.

Keogh makes us look far more dangerous going forward, and him playing with Doyle and Guiedioura would make us look a lot more threatening
