'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Chelsea's form is irrelevant

Chelsea come to Molineux tomorrow, in what is suppose to be dodgy away form.

That dodgy away form in terms of Chelsea means one defeat to Everton and a draw with Hull.

Hardly time to panic for the Premier League leaders is it?

"It doesn`t matter about anybody else`s away record if we are not playing well. It renders it irrelevant if we play well. But I think we`ve had a good spell. Our best of the season against Tottenham? It is because it is the most recent. We certainly played well at Tottenham away, but they had little or no chances at our place.' McCarthy told the Express & Star.

With the end of season run in getting closer and closer, many pundits have begun guessing how many points are needed for survival.

McCarthy recently targeted 40 points, but appears to have now changed that view.

He added: "I don`t know what it will take to stay up in terms of results and points, I really don`t. It will take us playing like we did against Spurs and Liverpool - that`s what it will take.

"We will get points if we play like that."

That bothers us Chelsea fans, that draw and defeat. We would be leading the league by a sizeable amount of points if we turned those into wins.
