'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Milijaš V Jones

There only appears to be one place available for either Nenad Milijaš or Dave Jones and right now, Wolves gaffer Mick McCarthy prefers Dave Jones.

"Dave Jones has been one of our best players since he got back and he`s the reason why Nenad Milijaš doesn`t get back in," said McCarthy to the Express & Star.

He added: "It`s not because Nenad has done anything wrong, but because Dave has been playing really well and he wants the ball all the time."

Milijaš has been a bit hit and miss since his move to Molineux, but surely that is to be expected when making the move to a foreign country?

What isn't up for debate is Milijaš's quality on the ball, his crossing ability is excellent and his set pieces add that little bit of quality to the side.

For me I`d go with Milijas, I`ve been frustrated that he hasn't been given a run in the team to adapt to the Premier League and if he had been, I think he could have been that extra bit of quality that we have sometimes missed in front of goal.

Jones puts in more of a shift that Milijas, its a trade off really. Milijas is more creative but the workrate of Jones is higher and he has a sweet left foot.
