Andy Keogh could prove to be be a key player in Wolves bid to survive in the Premier League, starting on Saturday against Manchester United.
Keogh got a vital 90 minutes under his belt for the reserves this week and that coupled with the 17 minutes against Bolton last week means he is now in contention for a return to the starting line up.
With Mick McCarthy now preferring the adaptable 4-5-1/4-3-3 formation, Keogh is the ideal player to slot into that system and Henry believes his return could be key to our survival hopes in the Premier League.
"He can definitely be a key player for us because he can play a number of positions in the front three or four.' Captain Karl Henry said to the Express & Star.
He added: "So it was good to see him back and hopefully he can chip in with a few goals between now and the end of the season.
"It was disappointing when he got injured because he brings a lot to the table so it`s good to see him back now.
"Hopefully he can help us stay in this league."
Vital Wolves Comment: Would Andy Keogh be in your first choice eleven?
I can certainly see the argument for him, especially in Mick's latest formation. He was also one of the first to really settle down in the Premier League following promotion and if he can return to that form I think he will prove a great asset.
