Hennessey will wait for his chance

23-year-old Wayne Hennessey will wait for his chance at Wolves.

We all know he is the future for Wolves in goal, but right now he is having to be patient.

After starting the Premier League season as our number one, Mick McCarthy switched to American veteran Marcus Hahnemann and ever since Hennessey has been limited to just three FA Cup appearances since November.

"I just have to keep my head down, keep on training well and we will see what happens. Who knows what will happen?' Wayne Hennessey told the Express & Star.

He added: "I don`t know the reasons for my exclusion but Hahnemann is doing well and he will get 'all the best` from me.

"I will just try to get my chance and when I do get it I will try to take it."

Vital Wolves Comment: Is it time to give Hennessey another shot between the sticks, or do we need that extra experience that Marcus Hahnemann offers?
