Pressure on the Villa

All the pressure is on Aston Villa to take the points on Saturday.

Aston Villa are still in the hunt for fourth spot and are unbeaten in their last eight matches.

"Villa will be expected to win because they`re at home, so there won`t be any pressure on us. We go to Villa Park trying to do the same things - stay strong on the pitch and stay in the game.' Wolves defender Ronald Zubar told the Express & Star.

He added: "They`re a good team - they`ve just played in the Carling Cup final and are seventh in the table. Villa is another difficult one, but we`ve been doing well away from home.

"It`s a special game because it`s a derby. When we played at home it was a very tough game and we managed to draw. After a point against Stoke they will be wanting to beat us.

Vital Wolves Comment: The bookies really do not fancy us in this one.

With Villa still chasing down a Champions League spot, they're expected to walk over us.

That will not happen though and hopefully our recent form will continue and we can frustrate the Villa and snatch a surprise win.

Crazy? Well I may just put my money where my mouth is for once on this one and spend a quid at the bookies, with decimal odds of 9.40 on a Wolves win it's worth a little flutter.

Much as i'd like you guys to survive, i think we'll bag the points on sat! Good luck for the rest of the season!

And there is no pressure on wolves to survive the drop? Unfortunately there was no skill in this diversionary piece of journalism. Nice try though.
Stig
Congratulations to Stig for the use of the word diversionary! Of course there is pressure on Wolves to avoid relegation. But at the moment we are feeling quite confident about picking up the points against the teams around us, so picking up anything against the top sides is seen as a bonus rather than necessity.
