'If It's Football, It's Vital'

The Hoff is happy with move

27-year-old Stefan Maierhofer may prove to be a bit of a flop considering his 1.8million transfer fee.

But the Austria international has not given up on his dream of making it in England and his loan move to Bristol City is just part of that plan.

"It`s always been my dream to play football in England. I`ve had a few games for Wolves and the atmosphere, the fans and the stadiums here are fantastic.

"I have no problem dropping down into the Championship to get games. This is still a very tough division. When I arrived here and saw the stadium, the superb pitch, it makes me hungry to play.' Maierhofer told the Express & Star.

He added: "I`m happy to be here. I`m here for 28 days and hopefully I can help move the team up the league."

Vital Wolves Comment: I really want Stefan Maierhofer to do well for Bristol City.

Personally I think if we stay in the Premier League his Wolves career is all but over unless he does something really special while out on loan. But hopefully he can prove me wrong.
