'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gaffers ahead of West Ham - Wolves

Wolves manager Mick McCarthy and West Ham boss Gianfranco Zola cannot be accused of playing this match down.

Just one Premier League place and one Premier League point separates the two sides going into the match.

Both sides tittering on the brink of dropping back into the relegation places.

A win for either side will see them put daylight between themselves and the bottom three.

The game is vital to both sides hopes of staying in the Premier League next season.

'We want to kick on and pick up points And, if we can in this game, it'll put more distance between us and the other teams and do damage to West Ham as well.' McCarthy told the BBC.

'The Wolves game will be massive, a six-pointer, We have to face the match with focus and concentration, but without doing silly things.' Zola told Sky Sports.

He added: 'The team is not in a very good position, but I am enjoying finding ways to get the best of my players in difficult conditions.'
