Wolves safe? Not yet.

Boss McCarthy and defender Jody Craddock have played down media suggestions that Wolves have now done enough to avoid the drop from the Premier League.

An unbeaten run of 4 games has catapulted Wolves up the Premier League table.

We now sit 14th, 5 points clear of relegation on 32 points.

With Portsmouth dead and buried following their points penalty, the relegation places are down to 2 spots currently occupied by Burnley who also look down and out and Hull who have shown they still have some fight left following their win over Fulham.

"We`re still looking over our shoulders at relegation' McCarthy told the Express & Star.

He added: "When it`s mathematically certain that we`ll finish above three teams - then I`ll get rid of my poker face.'

"I`m not sure how many points we need -maybe six' Craddock also told the Express & Star.

"We aren`t safe until it`s mathematically done and dusted, so we just need to keep it going. A lot of people thought we were going to go down, and it isn`t over yet. We can`t be thinking we`ve got enough points because we haven`t yet.'

Vital Wolves Comment: How many points do you think we need? Are we nearly safe? Or do you see us struggling over that finish line?

Hard to say I think 35 points will probably do it....

So just one more win? I think you could be right, but wouldn't want to test the theory! Still 2 wins for me.
