Henry blasts 'moaners' Arsenal

Skipper Karl Henry was furious at his sending off, and how the Arsenal players moan.

'It was never a red card, it is an absolute disgrace. He is up and running around two minutes later,' said the 28-year-old midfielder.

'Arsenal moan a lot and their players go down like a sack of spuds.'

Henry added: 'When they are rolling around getting people sent off, it makes you not want to see them do so well.'

'I have gone in to win it, Rosicky has gone across me to shield the ball. By that time, I have already gone to ground,' stated Henry.

'Thomas Vermaelen has come flying in and whoever else, trying to get me sent off.

'They get hit hard, like any other clubs do, and we are hearing about it for weeks and weeks.'

VitalWolves Verdict: I agree with Karl. Everything he has said is true. Everyone likes Arsenal's style but no one likes the way the act and protest to the referee.

Pfft! What a surprise. The coward Henry trying to portray himself as the victim after recklessly going thru the back of an opponent, putting bleeding stud holes in the back of his legs in the process. Pathetic! And the reaction of your manager and most of the media is almost as bad. Oh I am sorry Arsenal players had the temerity to complain about yet another over the top challenge. A|nd we havent even mentioned the stamp he carried out on Walcott either have we? Cloggers

He tries to avoid it, and he tries to ge tout of the way but doesn'thave the time and ACCIDENTLY gets him. I thought it was a foul too but the point is he got sent off because arsenal fans made such a huge deal of it. I've said this many times in the last day or so, everyone likes arsenal's style but people don't like them because the way they react to the slightest but of contact. If Rosicky is really hurt, why does he roll around? To make it worse?

I suppose he cut himself on the calf and made himself bleed for effect too? Those Arsenal players are really committed to their act, aren't they. And I guess you missed the Brum match, when two Arsenal players were booked after two tough English players dived with no contact.

They were very comitted. Do Arsenal have a magic sponge, because Rosicky's recovery is miraculous. He almsot scored a minute after being shot!

Another poor player trying to cover up his own crapness. If you want to fly in at 100mph from behind in the premiership fair enough but 9 times out of 10 you will be booked and 3 times out of 10 you will get a red card, especially when your stud marks are clearly visible on the opponents leg. Maybe all the Arsenal players gathered round because it was the 2nd incident this no mark was involved in during the game which in all fairness was played in a good spirit.

When Arsenal surround the ref it's unlike when teams like Chelski do it which is solely to badger, swear and intimidate them to sway the refs judgement. When Arsenal do it it's generally out of sheer frustration and anger because they have just witnessed yet AGAIN one of their team mates either A) narrowly avoid losing a lower limb by a whisker or B) Seeing a lower limb held in the same vicinity as the player by his sock. The visible wounds on Rosickys' calf caught by the cameras justify any rolling around in pain - this was no hammy Drogba platoon dive. It was a man in pain after being caught by another substandard oafish excuse for a footballer sliding in recklessly at full speed with zero regard for anyone. Fully justified red card as he escaped a nailed on yellow for surfboarding on Walcott earlier, how much longer was anyone expected to put up with Henrys clogging and borderline assaults? And now the world gets to laugh as it's always the leg snapping hard man assailant moaning, whining and b*tching like a little ...well b*tch, whilst Arsenal maintain their usual media silence when it comes to small insignificant clubs well beneath them :) Well done Andre Marriner. Instant red cards for the likes of Shawcross, Taylor, Boateng and Henry and the game would soon lose this ugly, reckless and dangerous edge. Sliding in from behind at 100 mph in the centre circle? Get the feck orf my pitch!

No when arsenal do it it's eaxactly the same as Chelsea/Man United. They are CHEATING. Rosicky is conning the ref and Vermaelen are over reacting. To say Henry is trying to cover up his own crpaness is just plain stupid. How many times have you watched him, once/twice at most. I watch him every week, he has been our second best player this season. What's funny about him is that he refuses to just kick the ball uo the field, he wants to keep the ball on the floor. Shows how much these so called football 'fans' know.

Bloggerwolf, even if for arguments sake we say that Karl Henry's red card was harsh, you would agree that his tackle on Rosicky from behind was atleast a yellow. Now considering his earlier clear yellow card assault on Walcott (again from behind) he deserved to be sent off. Wolves played well defensively and Hahnemann was out of this world but fortune favours the brave most of the time. We had far more shots on target, way more possession and much more desire to attack and win. Please move on!

I have to add that unlike the neanderthals at Stoke, Blackburn and Hull who just know how to kick us, Wolves were (barring Henry) clean in their play and extremely well organised. All the best in the rest of your games.
