Wolves chase Lallana?

Wolves chase Lallana?

Wolves have been linked with Southampton's attacking midfielder Adam Lallana.

He has 18 goals this season, from midfield and is a key part of Southampton's team and one of the main reasons they have done so well this season.

VitalWolves verdict: I get the feeling this is a bit like the signing of Surman/Friend. A young player who might do well in the future but won't be any part of the team for a couple of years. Friend's only premier league appearance has been against Man United and Surman has only played at Chelsea and United.

Should we sign him? Any Southampton fans out there who can tell us anything about him? Don't hesitate to comment!

Clearly a great prospect for the future but provided we avoid relegation, I really think we should be concentrating on securing at least 3 quality players of the Doyle level preferably with Premiership experience. Taking into account they along with their wages will not come cheaply and also the fact we already have one of the largest squads in the top flight, can we really afford to buy another player who chances are will not make the starting eleven next season?? As Steve Bull himself made reference to recently - our next step has to be to secure a Premier League place for at least the next few years.

No you dont want him, completely rubbish, he's only scored the goals because he has been fed by others. Bit of a Diva and thinks sun shines out of somewhere it shoudnt. In other words HANDS OFF!!!! In reality lots of potential but we down on the South Coast feel that he does not want to go the way of Walcott and Surman and prefers first team experience with the Saints rather than sitting on the bench

Totally agree with you there saint 2. Adam has already said he doesn't want to leave and expects to be at So'ton in coming season. He will be a good player but he is not known for his speed. He can score but can miss as well. Remember that we are only division one. Last season he didn't do over much so let us see what he can do next season.
