Vital Wolves: Draw with Stoke - The Verdict

A second score less result in 3 matches edges us closer to another crack at the Premier League next season.

Usually the third match on the bounce without the ball ending up in the net would concern me.

But right now it's points that we need and I don't care how we get them.

So a 0-0 against Stoke who always prove a tough nut to crack will do me nicely.

'This result means someone has to get seven points to get above us but we want to continue to pick up positive results until the end of the season.' Mick McCarthy told the BBC after the game.

He added: 'We want to end with a flourish and not have to worry about the other results.'

Vital Wolves Comment: I think we're safe now. I know, I know, my predictions have been awful this season, but I'm confident that I'm making the right call on this occasion!

Even if we lose our remaining games, I cannot see four sides over taking us over the next few games.

Admittedly I wouldn't like to put it to the test though!
