Wolves want Mancienne again next season

Not exactly a shock headline is it?

Unsurprisingly Wolves would like to bring Michael Mancienne to Molineux on loan from Chelsea for a third season next year.

The news is hardly unexpected, but the interesting part is how open gaffer McCarthy has been on subject.

Adding fuel to the rumour that Mancienne's future could be discussed between Wolves and Chelsea has soon as next week.

"Maybe he will stay with us next season. He`s getting a great education with us and doing a really good job, but I don`t feel he`s a Chelsea midfielder yet.' Mick McCarthy told the Express & Star.

He added: "I think he`s turning into a good Premier League midfielder, but is he going to win the Premier League or the Champions League playing there? Because that`s what Chelsea want.

When asked whether he thought Mancienne could come back to Wolves on loan again next season McCarthy replied: "I don`t know - that`s up to Chelsea because we`ve got to see how they feel. If they want him back then they can, because he`s their player."

Vital Wolves Comment: Chelsea fans what do you think? Surely we can keep him for at least one more year?

Well, he has definitely rediscovered his best form in the CDM role, thanks to Mick. So if you lot can help him continue his development, then why not? It's a win-win situation for everyone.
