'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Din-Done?

It's looking more and more unlikely that Aruna Dindane will be at Molineux next season.

Dindane has been a Wolves target according to the media ever since Portsmouth hit financial meltdown.

The 29-year-old Lens striker had been on loan at Pompey and there had even been the odd whisper that he may have even left Fratton Park this season.

But Portsmouth have survived the season and now Dindane is looking for a new club and Wolves reportedly had already made a £4million bid for the Ivory Coast international.

But Wolves have competition from Panathinaikos and the Greek giants are clearly Dindane's preferred option.

"It`s obvious I would choose Panathinaikos, who will participate in the Champions League and constantly fight for the league title in Greece.' Dindane told the Express & Star.

He added: "That`s something very difficult to achieve at other clubs besides the top four in England and it`s something that really excites me.

"If Panathinaikos agrees with Lens then joining them would become my top priority. I know a lot about Panathinaikos."

Vital Wolves Comment: The Greek league isn't exactly the same level as the Premier League and once Panathinaikos are eliminated from the Champions League (probably in the qualifiers) surely an ambitious player would prefer to be in the Premier League than in Greece?
