Saints return for Surman?

Andrew Surman could be set to return to Southampton following an unsuccessful move to Wolves last summer.

McCarthy spent 1.2million on the 23-year-old former England Under-21's International, but only used him on seven occasions in the Premier League.

With McCarthy set to move quite a few players on over the summer, internet rumours including the transfer rumours page on E&S suggest that he could move back to League One side Southampton.

Vital Wolves Comment: One of McCarthy's wasted signings of the summer and I fully expect him to leave Molineux.

Would have thought he could do better than a return to Southampton though?

A Championship club has to be what Surman is looking for??

As a Saints fan I am undecided as to whether we would bring him back. I do know though that as a local boy his true love is Saints.

won't be a factor in the top flight, considering all the strikers wolves have he'll never really play. more money to spend on newcomers

He might not be good enough for the Premiership but he is better than Division One!!
