What's the Damme hold up?

What's the Damme hold up?

Jelle van Damme`s move to Molineux has been held up after a dispute over the transfer fee.

The 26-year-old has already agreed personal terms, signing a four-year £16,500 a week contract.

But Wolves and Anderlecht have yet to agree on a fee.

Despite the delay, van Damme doesn't appear to be too concerned.

"I`ve already visited the club and the city of Wolverhampton and everything was OK. We`ll start looking for a house soon.' Van Damme told the Express & Star.

He added: "The club is ambitious and plans to invest in its squad. Club bosses told me they intend investing to have a better showing next season.

"The fact that they are prepared to pay this much for me is proof of this."

We'd like to do something a bit different and interactive, something that can involve you, the Vital Wolves readers!

So if you`d like to either submit a question, or be interviewed and get your name up in print, please get in touch!

He played 6 games for Southampton in the premiership in 2004 (they were relgated that year!) Have seen video clips and he seems ok. More worrying to me is he was involved (sued, I think) in a racial abuse case with Onyewu, the american we nearly signed last year.
