Wolves Fan Interview - Number 4 - Jim Fisher

Wolves Fan Interview - Number 4 - Jim Fisher

The fourth Vital Wolves fan interview of the summer has now been completed and next into the the hot seat is Jim Fisher.

Jim is another of Vital Wolves many followers on the Facebook page!

Question: How long have you supported Wolves?

Since 1979.

Question: How did you become a Wolves fan?

My childhood favourite player Dave Thomas signed for Wolves so I switched allegiance

Question: If you could pick one highlight as a Wolves fan what would it be?

Numerous, but the Play-Off Final in Cardiff sticks out. Also Derby away in the 2008/09 season as this was when I strted to believe that we were actually going up.

Question: Who is your all time favourite Wolves player?

Joleon Lescott (can't really say Dave Thomas bearing in mind he didn't feature for Wolves all that often)

Question: What was your assessment of last season?

We did what was needed. Not pretty at times but staying up was all that was required & we did that with games to spare.

Question: Are you pro or anti Mick McCarthy?

Neither pro or anti but then again I've NEVER been a subscriber to the hiring & firing scenario. We stook with Mick & he got us promoted & then kept the faith again & he lead us to retaining that status.

Question: If money and status was no object, who would you most like to see in a Wolves shirt?

Don't really care, whoever wears the shirt gets my support. I get frustrated with players at times but my support for Wolverhampton Wanderers never wavers.

Question: Predictions for the World Cup, how far will England get, how will we get knocked out and who will go on to win it?

I NEVER do predictions (never come true)

Question: Predictions for Wolves next season, where do we need to strengthen, should Mick stick with one up front?

See above.

Question: Where do you travel from to see the wolves play?

I only make a 250 mile round trip to take up my Season Ticket seat at Molineux.

How do you see Sylvain Ebanks-Blake figuring into the team this upcoming season, if at all?

Unfortunately I think he'll only be a squad player. Shame seeing as his goals got us up in the first place but that's football.

Question: Do you think Wolverhampton can establish themselves in the Premier League and once again, become a great club?

Bearing in mind certain other teams money problems I think we're going places in the next few seasons. Question: What is your question for the next interviewee on Vital Wolves?

Has your support for Wolverhampton Wanderers ever wavered, even when we were in the Fourth Division. (Always presuming your support goes back that far).

Thanks to Jim for agreeing to be our fourth interview!

Would you like to be interviewed?

Fancy getting your name up in lights, or at least bold font?

I stopped making predictions last season! I got everything wrong! As soon as I stopped doing it, our results improved, coincidence??
