Wolves Fan Interview - Number 12 - goochy532

The twelfth Vital Wolves fan interview of the summer has now been completed and next into the the hot seat is goochy532.

Question number 1: What is your username on Vital Wolves?

goochy532.

Question 2: How long have you supported Wolves?

Since 1973, I was 9.

Question 3: Where do you travel from to see the wolves play?

This varies as I'm in the RAF, at the moment I'm at Cosford so its easy, 2004 - 2007 I lived in Belgium but travelled at least twice a month to watch the lads.

Question 4: How did you become a Wolves fan?

My old man took me to watch wolves v Man city Dec 73, we lost 4 - 0, but I was hooked.

Question 5: Are you pro or anti Mick McCarthy?

Definitely Pro, since he arrived at wolves after Hoddle, we had 13 pro's on the books and we have improved every season since. 'IN MICK WE TRUST'

Question 6: What was your assessment of last season?

It was always going to be hard, but the team got stronger and more experienced as the season went on, happy we stayed up with games to spare.

Question 7: Do you think when Mick changed the whole side against Man Utd was a good decision or not and what would you think if he did it next season ?

I was there that night, and there were a lot of unhappy fans there! But I think a majority of the moaners were only there because it was at united. I was at the wins the week before and after so I was happy.

Question 8: Do you think Wolverhampton can establish themselves in the Premier League and once again, become a great club?

We will always be a great club, and I think we will improve with every season in the Premier.

Question 9: Predictions for Wolves next season, where do we need to strengthen, should Mick stick with one up front?

I think 11th - 13th is achievable, You can see with the summer signings so far Mick knows where we are weak, would love to see a good creative player in midfield though. We are flexible and will play 1 up front against the top 6/7 and maybe away, and 4 4 2 at home against the weaker teams.

Question 10: Where do you think Wolves will finish next season?

11th - 13th.

Question 11: How do you see Sylvain Ebanks-Blake figuring into the team this upcoming season, if at all?

With an injury free pre season Sylvan will be back to his best and WILL score 10 goals + next season.

Question 12: If you could pick one highlight as a Wolves fan what would it be?

My 1st visit to Wembley 1980 wolves 1 Forest 0 (Andy Gray) get in!!!.

Question 13: What is the worst Wolves match you have ever seen and why?

To lose to them down the road in the play off semi's.

Question 14: Has your support for Wolverhampton Wanderers ever wavered?

NEVER!!

Question 15: Who is your all time favourite Wolves player?

Only one Stevie Bull!!

Question 16: If money and status was no object, who would you most like to see in a Wolves shirt?

Fabregas running our midfield, would be incredible.

Question 17: What Wolves player from history would you want in next seasons team?

Billy Wright.

Question 18: If you could attend any game in Wolves history, which would it be and why?

The F A CUP final win, 1960.

Question 19: What is your favourite bit of Wolves trivia?

Who won the 1967 American league? Wolves!! (it was a summer league with the best 12 teams from Europe and South America) Wolves won of course!! Bet you didn't know that?

Question 20: What is your question for the next interviewee on Vital Wolves?

Which stand do you sit in at wolves? my daughter will only go in the Jack Harris!! (the rest are boring) her words.
