Wolves mean business!

Wolves Chairman/Owner Steve Morgan has sent out a message to the rest of the Premier League.

Following a spending spree by Wolves gaffer Mick McCarthy which has seen the additions of Steven Fletcher for a joint record transfer fee, Stephen Hunt, Adlene Guedioura, Jelle van Damme and Steven Mouyokolo. Morgan has declared that 'We mean business'.

"We have spent a record amount of money on transfers this summer - more than last year.'

'the players we`ve bought in are experienced and can only add to the squad, which can only strengthen us as a club and a team." Wolves owner Steve Morgan told the Express & Star.

Morgan was also very determined to state that Kevin Doyle was not leaving Wolves, which is music to mine and many other Wolves fans who were probably looking for the bad news that has to be hiding behind a corner somewhere??

"He is not for sale - I can`t be more clear, We can`t manage with one striker.

"It`s rubbish to think that because we bought Steven Fletcher that we`d sell Kevin - we`re not remotely considering letting Kevin go."
