Lescott

Joleon Lescott finally looks set to star in the Premiership, pending a medical with Everton this morning.

The news will come as a mixed blessing to the club, who one one hand will be glad of the substantial fee recieved, but on the other lose an icon whose influence in defence cannot be underestimated.

Speaking to the clubs official site, Wolves CEO Jez Moxey said 'We have been in discussion with a number of clubs interested in signing Joleon and have agreed a transfer fee with Everton.

'Joleon is this morning undergoing a medical examination and, subject to the outcome of that, we expect to conclude the transfer which will reflect the player's value.'

Lets be honest, i think everyone knew that if he didn't make it with you, then he'd move on. A good player who i do not think will look amiss in the premiership.

it was bound to happen, and he should do well up at everton, he should look out of place in the premiership

Who cares in a sense, one very good player lost with wise spending 4 good youngtalents to emerge next season. I see this as a great opportunity to strengthen the first 16 players.

once again why the wolves sleep others pounce, biscoff to coventry, lunt to ??sheff wed???, ambition -with this bunch of garbage board and I mean all of them! we are going no-were, and before my fellow "wolves" fans start jumping up and saying I am no wolves fan- I am 57, this is my 54 season(35 as a STH) and yes it is already renewed, living in tesco town- do I need to go on. I bleed gold and black-BUT- lets be honest we are going no-were with this present set up, get rid of this board who's only ambition is balancing the books, it's not moxeys fault- who tells him what to do??? they are the ones to blame. In 50 years from now fans will still be living on what jack done lets hope its not in the conferance- he showed his ambition after the chelsea match. Thanks Sir Jack for saving our beloved club, but it is now time for you and your family to go- you are the weakest link-good bye.
