Wolves Fan Interview - Number 17 - Bujok

Wolves Fan Interview - Number 17 - Bujok

The seventeenth Vital Wolves fan interview of the summer has now been completed and next into the the hot seat is Bujok_OZ_Wolves.

Question number 1: What is your username on Vital Wolves?

Bujok_OZ_Wolves

Question 2: How long have you supported Wolves?

Since the Day I was born

Question 3: Where do you travel from to see the wolves play?

Used to be Smethwick now it`s Perth in Australia.

Question 4: How did you become a Wolves fan?

We had a divided family between Wolves and Boggies, naturally I chose The Wolves.

Question 5: Are you pro or anti Mick McCarthy?

There may be better managers in the world but Mick is doing a good job. Would anyone really have hoped for more over his last two seasons?

Question 6: What was your assessment of last season?

It was a great season in terms of finishing 15th but our style of play needs to be more entertaining whilst maintaining positive results. I will however settle for results in the short term whilst we establish ourselves for the future.

Question 7: Do you think when Mick changed the whole side against Man Utd was a good decision or not and what would you think if he did it next season ?

Bad decision. I don`t believe he needed to rest so many and we could have taken points.

Managing the whole squad more effectively before and after a key game would eliminate the need for so many changes but if Mick makes the call then I support his decision as he is in possession of all the facts.

Question 8: Do you think Wolverhampton can establish themselves in the Premier League and once again, become a great club?

Wolves are a GREAT club already and I do think we can establish ourselves in the Premier league and truly believe that the 3 M`s are on the road to accomplishing that. Keep the faith.

Question 9: Predictions for Wolves next season, where do we need to strengthen, should Mick stick with one up front?

A more competitive team and a few more goals. We need to strengthen creativity in midfield as the other areas have already been strengthened so far this pre season. I never like to see one up front but understand the need sometimes and let`s face it, that`s what kept us in the Prem last season with the squad as it was.

Question 10: Where do you think Wolves will finish next season?

I think mid table, hope for top ten, dream of Europe.

Question 11: How do you see Sylvain Ebanks-Blake figuring into the team this upcoming season, if at all?

I hope he will be back as he is a goal scorer. Neither his or our expectations will be as high next time around so he should be able to handle the pressures that much more.

Question 12: If you could pick one highlight as a Wolves fan what would it be?

Championship Play Off Final, 2003. Flew in from Australia the day before the game and spent a whole week celebrating.

Question 13: What is the worst Wolves match you have ever seen and why?

Chorley. Enough said.

Question 14: Has your support for Wolverhampton Wanderers ever wavered?

NO. I even used to go to all the old 4th division games with my brother Mark and best mate Nog, home and away. Out of Darkness Cometh Light.

Question 15: Who is your all time favourite Wolves player?

Steve Bull. I cried when he hung up his boots.

Question 16: If money and status was no object, who would you most like to see in a Wolves shirt?

Lionel Messi, fantastic player and just what we need right now.

Question 17: What Wolves player from history would you want in next seasons team?

Kenny Hibbitt. Silky skills and an eye for goal.

Question 18: If you could attend any game in Wolves history, which would it be and why?

Wolves v Honved 1954. A packed Molineux watched a game under the old floodlights where Wolves came from 0 v 2 down to win 3 v 2 and were declared Champions of the World.

The things that dreams are made of.

Question 19: What is your favourite bit of Wolves trivia?

There are quite a few good ones for Wolves given our history but my favourite is, the first ever penalty in the Football League.

Wolves v Accrington 14 September 1891, Scored by John Heathof Wolves. Wolves went on to win 5 v 0.

Question 20: What is your question for the next interviewee on Vital Wolves?

Do you have a pre match ritual or lucky Wolves charm and what is it?

Thanks to Bujok_OZ_Wolves for agreeing to be our seventeenth interview!
