Which player will surprise us all?

Last season, I don't think anyone thought Jody Craddock would make the centre back position his own let alone win player of the year. He had a fantastic season.

Others like David Jones changed my mind about them. Jones put in some superb performances, especially West Ham away. Until his injured Edwards had been one of our most consistent players. After signing for us, Zubar disappeared for three months but was immense at right back.

There's often a player who surprises us, but who could it be this year?

Could it be Sylvan Ebanks-Blake? I would imagine our forward line at the moment would be Fletcher and Doyle. I'm not counting him out, but I don't think many will bet on him scoring too many goals for us next season.

Or could Kevin Foley win back his place in the team? Mr.Consistency will be working harder than ever to get back in.

Maybe one of the injured players. Kightly hasn't been fully fit for a long time now, could he be the man to take us further?

One player I hope proves the doubters wrong is Matthew Murray. If he could ever get fit and STAY fit I think we would have the best goalkeeper in the country.

Most likely though, it won't be one of the above mentioned. Who do you think will break into the team and impress?

I am backing Stearman to eventually fight his way back into the team. I just hope he is given the chance....

good shout. I reckon he will get a chance, he's only young too

Hmmm I cant see Stearman getting in , Zubar has made the position his own , And Foley will be back up as with Kightly back and Hunt too , I cant see where Foley plays as Jarvis will hold down the left side and Jarvis will be my suprise for next season , He Will only get better n better !! , What was it we Paid Gillingham , 800k thereabouts , Bargain is an Understatement !

I think Matt Murray has very few doubters, BloggerWolf, except about his fitness. McCarthy has already said that Murray will not be in the squad of 25 until January, so, if he surprises us, it will be next year. If Ebanks-Blake goes to Blackpool on loan and Doyle or Fletcher gets injured, maybe Vokes or Hemmings could surprise us. Otherwise, I guess Foley is the most likely, but in what position?

Blake aint going knowhere , Keogh is though !!!

Can't see MM selling SEB to a relegation rival. If any strikers are to go it will be to championship sides with exception of hoff who may be off abroad. My suprise is kights.

I think Mouyokolo will establish himself very quickly and turn out to be a bargain, and I expect Mujangi Bia to show a bit more.
