Doyle happy at Wolves

Striker Kevin Doyle is still happy at Molineux, despite suggestions he was ready to quit Wolves if we'd been relegated last season.

The fact that in reality we were never even close to being relegated didn't stop the press linking Doyle to various moves away from Molineux.

There has even been the odd murmur that he could still leave over the summer, but our joint biggest transfer has stated that he is still and was always happy at Wolves.

'Nothing has changed, I am very happy here,' Doyle told Wolves Official Website.

Doyle added: 'It doesn't mean you are not ambitious and want to play at the highest level, but I am happy here and have enjoyed every minute of it since I've come.

'It is a pleasure to play for Wolves. All of the players - we all get on so well together and with the manager and everyone.

Vital Wolves Comment: I'm really looking forward to seeing Doyle link up with Fletcher next season!
