Hunt desperate for action

Stephen Hunt is desperate to get his Wolves career up and running and is clearly frustrated that he will miss the start of the season through injury.

Hunt joined the club injured and we're fully expecting to miss him for the first couple of months of the season.

Although if Hunt had the choice, he would be playing tomorrow!

'The physio has got to know me pretty quickly - he put the reins on me straight away!' Hunt told Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'He's told me 'take your time and once you're back, you'll be fit for the rest of the season - you don't want to be picking up niggling injuries by coming back too soon'.

'I've had a look at the fixture list and I've got one or two games in mind for myself, but the physio has targeted other games.

'There are some big local derbies coming up, so we'll see how we go.'

Vital Wolves Comment: I'm so looking forward to seeing Hunt in a Wolves shirt. It has been a long time coming, but I think it will be well worth the wait.

His passion and enthusiasm is all too clear in this interview and that can only be a good thing once he brings it onto the pitch.
