Will Arsenal bid for Doyle?

Will Arsenal bid for Doyle?

It's a rumour that has circled Molineux all summer. Will Arsenal make an official move for striker Kevin Doyle?

According to the Express & Star's transfer rumour column: 'Arsenal are apparently still keeping tabs on Kevin Doyle.'

If they are, Doyle remains focused ahead of the new season with Wolves.

'These are exciting times looking ahead to the new season but we can't get ahead of ourselves and have to stay grounded,' Doyle said to Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'If we don't do that and do all the little things right and keep our standards high we'll be found out.

'We've signed some very good players and so hopefully we can maintain what we did last season and maybe push on.'

Vital Wolves Comment: I would have thought that if Arsenal were going to bid for Doyle then they would already have made a move?

Surely they would have wanted him in their squad ahead of pre-season? So I'm not going to read much into the rumour, but what do you think? Let us know on the article comments below.

The E&S as usual were just repeating rubbish found on another site (Betfair?) with all the journalistic intergity that we have come to expect from such an esteemed newspaper . Doyle is going no where an no one has made a bid for him.
