Fletcher bags debut goal

Steven Fletcher had the debut that all new signings hope to have.

Signed for a joint record transfer fee over the summer from Burnley, he would have wanted a good performance to settle in quickly.

So a debut goal against Bohemians was just what he would have wanted, but not only that the link up with Kevin Doyle also pleased our new signing.

"I think we linked up well and created a few chances for each other and I got a goal which is nice," Fletcher told the Birmingham Mail.

He added: "Kevin is a great player. We all saw that last season and hopefully we can work together this year and do the same again."

Vital Wolves Comment: What do you think about the potential partnership between Fletcher and Doyle?

Will Mick play with them both more often than not or will he revert to just one of them as we flood the midfield against the better sides?
