Anxious wait for Wolves Zubar

Ronald Zubar will find out his fate later today after twisting his left ankle on tour in Ireland.

The 24-year-old limped off after just 20 minutes against Bohemians and will have a scan to see how bad the injury is.

"A ball came across and I tried to turn but my ankle twisted and it gave me a bad feeling - it was painful.' Ronald Zubar told the Express & Star.

He added: "It`s a little bit sore and swollen, so I`ve keep the protective boot on it for a couple of days.

"I`ve had it treated over the weekend, I`ll probably have it scanned today and we`ll see what the problem is inside.'

Fingers crossed it proves to be nothing serious and Zubar can return to action straight away.

He is my favourite player and he improved so much last year. i think we need zubar at right back not foley because foley hasn't got the pace.

I would choose Stearman over Foley if Big Ron misses the start of the season , Zubar has made that position his own , AWSOME !!
