Wolves not intersted in Benjani

Benjani the former Manchester City striker will not be coming to Molineux and instead could be set for a move to either West Ham or Blackburn.

The Mirror firstly reported this morning that we would are involved in a three way tussle to sign the 31-year-old free agent. The paper said: McCarthy wants to bring in more firepower despite the 7m signing of Stephen Fletcher from Burnley.

Which could well be right, if the price is right, but that doesn't really look like Benjani who hasn't scored a Premier League goal since December 2008.

Thankfully the Express & Star believes we are not interested, which ends that rumour before it even really got started!
