Wolves not intersted in Benjani

Wolves not intersted in Benjani

Benjani the former Manchester City striker will not be coming to Molineux and instead could be set for a move to either West Ham or Blackburn.

The Mirror firstly reported this morning that we would are involved in a three way tussle to sign the 31-year-old free agent. The paper said: McCarthy wants to bring in more firepower despite the £7m signing of Stephen Fletcher from Burnley.

Which could well be right, if the price is right, but that doesn't really look like Benjani who hasn't scored a Premier League goal since December 2008.

Thankfully the Express & Star believes we are not interested, which ends that rumour before it even really got started!
