Vital Wolves: Poll Result

Vital Wolves: Poll Result

As you may know I've been running another poll on Vital Wolves - 'What should be done about Wayne Hennessey?

'We should keep Marcus Hahnemann and give Wayne Hennessey a few games this year.' received 50% of the vote.

I think this is the the route that Mick will end up taking.

'We should loan him out.' got 23% of the poll

This is very unlikely to happen. He has been loaned out before, and he worked well and came back a better player, however his moral has dropped since.

'He should be sold.' got 17% of the vite and 'He should become the first choice keeper' got 10%

It is surprising that either of these have any bit of the percentage.

Wayne Hennessey is very good, however Hahnemann's experience helps to sturdy the defence.

These are my views, but what do you think?

Conflicting views, albeit only those in the small percentages. There will of course be those who insist he is the best thing since sliced bread and those who have little faith. I voted to send him out on loan to see if he can reproduce the form he is capable of, but I still do not believe the player has confidence and rate Carl a better keeper. I don't think giving him a few cup games is going to do him any good. I would have him third choice and I would say unless Murray Mint is anywhere near fitness then we need three and must hold onto him until January at least. MH was outstanding last year and I cannot see him losing his place until Murray Mint is fighting fit, even then it is going to take a mighty effort from the big fella to regain his strength, confidence, true ability and such forth after such a long time out.

I'd like to see Wayne play a few more games in the PL, confidence is the key with him. Some below par performances by not only Wayne but the team last season really hit his confidence when we were playing 4-4-2, the switch in keeper and 4-5-1 kept us in the division. Would Wayne have been better in the 4-5-1 formation with more protection? Will he make it back to the number 1 spot? Only time will tell.Good luck to the lad. NYC Wolf Matt Murray is a whole different debate and I hope for his sake the injuries are behind him.

i was just thinking to keep him so he could get experince from Hahnemann. but if we did send henners on loan and Hahnemann gets injured who do we fall back on. murray probally be injured and hasnt played enough games in 5 years. and ikeme very little experince. so i would definatly keep him.
