Irish Wolves

Kevin Doyle, Andy Keogh and Kevin Foley are set to face Argentina next month, but following Diego Maradona's departure its unclear who will be in charge.

The news that the Wolves trio had been named in Giovanni Trapattoni's Republic of Ireland squad was announced via Wolves Official Website.

The game on Wednesday, August 11 is set to open the new AVIVA Stadium in Dublin.

Vital Wolves Comment: With only a few days between this fixture and the opening day of the Premier League season you have to wonder who thought that date would be ideal for an international fixture!

But Ireland are not the only country in action, so we could have even more players away from the squad just days before the home game against Stoke.

Great preparation!

Just hope Mr T doesn't try and convince Doyle he still needs a "bigger" club and sticks to what he's paid to do!
