Molineux form needs to improve

Last season we took 21 points at Molineux.

The second worst points record in the Premier League. We had the worst scoring record at home and only one other ground in the Premier League saw less goals than Molineux.

'We know we need to improve our home form next season and will be keen to get off to a good start in that respect,' Henry said to Wolves Official Website.

He added: 'Our away form was good and we produced some good wins and draws on our travels.

'But it would be nice to pick up some more points at home.

While many pundits have said a lot about Wolves lack of goals last season, not many picked up on our home form.

This season our main target once again is to avoid the drop, but once that is certain, we want to kick on and improve on last year and Karl Henry has recognised that.

I think with everything that our Mick has learnt over the past season, we should prove to be difficult to beat and offer a bit more creativity going forward.

As much as I agree that our home form needs to improve , Im just glad we are not a team like Fulham that cant buy a win on the road , Having a good away form shows we fear no one , I know all teams can go on ifs n buts , But if you take the last min equaliser from everton , Arsenals late winner , the home draw with hull , We should have beaten villa away and should have at least drawed with pompey at home with the blatant hand ball decision thats 8 points which would have seen us finish 12th , If we can do exactly the same next season but change just a couple home and away performences into wins and not draws mid table is a very realistic chance !!! , LETS AIM HIGH WOLVES !!!!!!

We have options in defence when we need to hang on for points, and we have options up front and are going to score goals, my only concern is midfield still, are we going to get the service to the front 1 / 2 / 3 depending on what formation we play, does anyone know what our best midfield formation is yet. We need more points at home, we need to gamble at times, 4-5-1 saved us last season - "goals for" need to save us this season!!

Hats off Odd Job- a string of excellent examples. We can all prove convinced that 'luck' and 'these things' balance out over the course of the season, I feel Wolves were on the receiving in of some very poor refereeing through the course of the season and that this more than anything left us 15th rather than 12th as you pointed out. I don't believe it luck, an outcome is the result of of an action and the environment it occurred! If you skim the bar, you may as well put it in row Z because you don't get a goal for either.

Ohhhh ive skimmed the bar many a time and cursed it as bad luck hahahahahahaha !

Hats off. Oddly enough, pun intended, hitting the bar used to be almost, almost as good as scoring.

Makes me laugh that some pundits on tele say that when a player strikes the ball and it goes in they ( not all the time ) say the keeper should have done better but when it smashes against the bar they say the keeper would have had no chance !! hahaha
