Ebanks Blake Championed At The Polls

Sylvan Ebanks Blake would take tremendous heart from our recent poll asking who will score the most goals for us next season.
Blake ran away with an astounding 69% of the vote, despite being expected to start the season on the bench. 6.5 million pound signings Kevin Doyle and Stephen Fletcher scored 12% and 14% of the votes respectively.
Jody Craddock came fourth with 2%, whilst Matt Jarvis and Stephen Hunt scored just 1% of the vote.

While I'd like nothing more to see SEB return to form and bang in the goals, I feel he is going to struggle to break into the side ahead of Fletcher and Doyle.

I agree Akela , And after what ive been told and what ive seen myself in pre season , He looks like he could be an ideal impact sub , But will his confidence go if hes on the bench every week ?? , It was good to see fletcher n SEB linking up well though

I'm just surprised by the result of the poll. If fit, I fully expect Doyle & Fletcher to start upfront.

I think Mccarthy started with fletch n blake as doyle wont be ready !!!! and they looked good :-)
ODDJOB79
As I have said before this poll is obviously not representative of what most Wolves supporters think. It will obviously be either Doyle or Fletcher who will be expected to head the scoring charts. I expect either of them to score more goals than SEB will get starts. [Injury excepting].

I think that poll could be upside down!
Vanilla Ice
Well. Unless someone is repeatedly tapping on Blakey the polls usually speak for themselves. Don't get me wrong, it baffles me because I think we all know Morgan was not flicking those tenners ready for Fletcher to sit on the bench. Doyle was Player Of The Year in my book last year, and Mick could not have praised him more highly. If you look at most of the poll results they have proven realistic- the result of this one is either odd, or some people should have gone to Spec Savers.

Dont forget Fletcher can play wide right !!he could play all three and Kightly flying down the other side!now there's a lovely thought. As far as the poll goes I think its just a loyalty thing on the part of the fans.
