'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Second Season Sunshine

Personally, I am somewhat bored with all this talk of 'Second Season Syndrome.' Whilst some clubs have suffered, as I expect Albion, Blackpool and possibly Newcastle to this year, statistics are not overwhelmingly in support of this notion created and repeatedly encouraged by the media.

I am amazed, yet somehow pleased, that a great percentage of the pundits still have us down as the third team to face relegation.

After an ultimately comfortable survival last year coupled with the fact we are the third biggest spending club this summer, close to 20 million pounds on quality additions, almost all of whom are internationals, i find it difficult to entertain the idea of relegation. Wolves- share your thoughts- opinions are always sought.
