Ward fancies our chances at Everton

Stephen Ward feels that the confidence amongst the Wolves squad puts us in a good position as we go to Everton.

'It's going to be a really tough game at Everton,' Stephen Ward told Wolves Official Website.

Everton traditionally have a good record at home and Ward continued: 'At Goodison they are a major force but we will go there with confidence after Saturday's win.'

Following the win over Stoke, we couldn't have had a better start to the season.

That confidence will now be taken to Everton who lost to Blackburn and I fancy an upset and it appears Ward fancies our chances too.

He added: 'Last year we went there and the lads put in a really good performance and we were unlucky not to win the game.

'We'll be looking to put on another performance like that and hopefully come back with something on the board.'

If Everton come out of the blocks like we did against Blackburn, you might just be right, still, I think Moyes has added the much needed rocket in the arse

I can't see us not winning this game, we let ourselves down last week and the players will be playing at 110% to make up for it.

Yeah Moyes will have got them up for this one,I'd take a draw and come home happy.

I think the wolves are gonna be culled :'D

If there is any time to verse Everton it is definelty the start of the season, however, I'm hoping Moyes gets the boys back into the mindset we had towards the end of last season, and I would think we would keep our home record in tact

everton win for me - sorry!

even though im a villa fan dont under estimate the wolves! big Mick has gelled a hard working hungry team i woudnt be surprised if wolves won or 2 2 close game. i like everton also guys great real history like ourselves at least we villa everton dont need to buy our histories unlike CHELSKI AND CITEH? any agree :)

Nice one Villain. Thanks for sharing. From the Midlands teams i dislike Albion as an ugly club, Blues have already punched above their weight. I have a soft spot for Villa. I love a club with true tradition and something to back it up with. I still fancy us to sneak a one nil, and I don't think Doyle will start, he will be on for the last half hour. We have nothing to fear. We went up there last year and matched them- we are better now so I don't think a narrow Wolves win would be such a surprise. Not to me anyway

For me over the years, Everton have been a good solid consistant team, they do however, for whatever reason have a tendency to get off to slow starts. If this game was Nov/Dec I would have to lean towards an Everton win,but its the second game and Wolves will be full of confidence.I think same result to last year 1-1
Crete Wolf
I expect Everton to win although we have it within our capacity to come away with something if we continue to play at our very best.
astraltrader
I expected an Everton 2-1 win to be honest , Every point on the road is not a shock as under McCarthy we have always been good on the road , Im jjust chuffed that Wolves have a never say die attitude and with the Bit of quality we have its a good Mix , Great result lads !!!
