'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jez Still Confident

Ever the optimist, Jez Moxey has told Wolves official site that not only is he confident the proposed Joleon Lescott transfer to Everton will still go ahead, but that it may be resolved in the next 48 hours.

'We are into the final details of the deal. I have been confident of this transfer being completed throughout and I'm optimistic it could be finalised in the next day or two.' he said.

The move could bring Wolves a much needed windfall of as much as 5 million, with a large slice being promised for incoming players, something sure to make both Wolves fans and manager Glenn Hoddle smile.
