Wolves In League Cup 3rd Round Draw

Wolves will be looking to progress to the 4th Round of the League Cup having been handed a second successive home tie against lower league opposition.

League One's Notts. County will be our next visitors.

Inevitably, we will go into the game as firm favourites, but none of us will be counting our chickens after stuttering past League Two outfit Southend in the Second Round with what proved an undeserved victory.

Notts. County will be looking to improve after a shaky start. The kicked off the season with back to back 3-0 defeats, against Huddersfield at home, and Oldham away, respectively.

They have since redeemed themselves with a home win against Dagenham and producing a stunning comeback at Bournemouth at the weekend to earn a 3-3 draw despite going into injury time 3-1 down.

County have progressed to the Third Round with victories against Plymouth and Watford.
