Kightly targets loan move

The disappointment of being left out of Wolves 25-man squad hasn't kept Michael Kightly down for long.

Mick McCarthy decided against including him due to his injury problems which continue to leave him unavailable.

'Obviously any setback is disappointing but it's something I've learned to cope with over the last year or so,'

'Once it was realised I wasn't going to be ready it was always going to be the right decision not to be included in the 25.' said Kightly to Wolves Official Website.

The 25-man squad can be amended in January and Kightly has his sights firmly set on making that squad.

The determined 24-year-old hasn't played since November and plans to get fit and enjoy a loan spell away from Molineux.

He added: 'When I do get fit again it would be good to get out on loan if any clubs were interested.'

'If that was to happen then by the time January comes around I could be ready to try and challenge for a place in the squad here.'

Mayaswell send him out on loan...The man is never fit, He has serious injury problems. All my friends are wolves fans and they all rate kightly highly and so do i but his career will never take off the way it should have, if he would of stayed fit he could of been a very good player and maybe even an england international.. Its just not gonna work for him now, he is way too injury prone.

He's only young, and I will continue to back him like with Murray.

Struggling with injury after injury at such a young age is a worry though , I agree totally with P.AVFC , Hes a million miles away from Jarvis , Hunts game is about work rate and hunger so i doubt he will struggle to get upto pace and luckily for hunt he will be back at the next internation break so hopefully will get half hour for ireland which would help !!

Yes it will be good for Michael and good for the club for him to go out on loan.I hope the fans will get behind him and give him all the support they can through forums like this and by any other means,it all helps and builds confidence.

Does it ??? , I doubt Kightly reading this will make his injury speed up , I want him to take his time not rush back n get injured again !

I have my doubts as to whether he would be better or as good in this division as Jarvo/Hunt anyway, and depending how we play as effective as Guedioura either. So , if he gets back to fitness a loan makes sense, and then evaluate from then, I personally see him never getting back to fully fit, but that is just me ,,,

I'd take an injured Kights over a fully fit SWP or Lennon anyday. The lad's class. Keep the faith guys. UTW!!
