Fletcher returns from Scotland duty

Steven Fletcher has been released from the Scotland squad.

As I mentioned yesterday, it does seem like all the news coming out of Molineux is injury related at the moment!

We've had the latest news on Stephen Hunt and Michael Kightly and an update on the state of play regarding Sam Vokes. Now the attention has switched back to Fletcher who has left the Scotland squad.

The 23-year-old missed Scotland's 0-0 draw in Lithuania and will now miss tonight's qualifier against Liechtenstein at Hampden.

The news means that he can concentrate on getting fit for Wolves ready for Saturday`s match at Fulham.

However it isn't clear how much of a chance Fletcher has in recovering in time and with Kevin Doyle and Sylvain Ebanks-Blake both on form would he be guaranteed a place anyway??

2 tough away games ahead - we need all the personnel we can get our hands on... especially of Fletcher's callibre However, I wouldnt mind a switch back to 451 for these

I think you should rest him for the Fulham match. No point in taking any chances. Did I mention I'm a Fulham supporter? Ah, no matter.

I think a place on the bench for this week-end.

If he is not fit to play for Scotland what chance is there that he will be fit for the weekend. We would be mad to risk a 7 million pound player when Doyle and Blakey can do a good enough job for us. I agree that we should stick with 4-4-2 for this game although I certainly expect us to revert to 4-5-1 at Spurs the week after. it garnered six points last season after all and considering how tight we are looking at the back I think we can sneak something at Fulham and get a draw at Spurs. Although I would settle from two more draws from these games considering the home games we having coming up afterwards.

Wait til he is fully fit before playing, otherwise one knock leads to another. If we play 2 up front and one goes off, we can always bring Gued on for an attacking 4 5 1. That said i think we will start 4 5 1 anyway
