Can Guedioura be our very own Lampard?

Adlene Guedioura has hinted that he would like to become Wolves very own version of Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard.

The 24-year-old Algerian international isn't really known for his goal scoring exploits, but it appears he would like to add more goals to his game.

"If you look at Frank Lampard I think he scored 22 goals in a season from midfield. I hope I can impress more and show I can start games and contribute to the team.' Guedioura told the Express & Star.

He officially only has one goal to his name for Wolves since coming to the club last year.

Arguably he could have claimed one against Burnley, but that was given as an own goal, but his strike against Sunderland last season was certainly his own!

He added: "I`m not solely focused on trying to score goals but if I have a chance I like to have a shot to help the team.

"I like to get forward and try to be a threat to the opposition. But my first job is to keep the ball and get tackles in and win the ball back in the midfield.

"After that if I can go forward I like to."

Vital Wolves Comment: Mini-Sweepstake time!! How many goals will Guedioura score this season?? Put me down for four..
