Wolves Bites

We haven't done one of these for a while, so if the title wasn't a give away, basically its a nice little Wolves news round-up in one bite size chunk.

First up, Carl Ikeme will be staying at Leicester for another month after the Championship side extended his loan spell.

So far Ikeme has made three appearances, with his side winning once, drawing once and losing once.

Matt Jarvis will be fit for the Aston Villa game on Sunday.

Jarvis was a doubt with a tight groin. Jelle van Damme and Dave Edwards could also be fit, but of course Ronald Zubar, Stephen Hunt and Michael Kightly are out.

Ad Mant Bites: I make no bones about the fact that we are woeful at the back and thus far proved completely inept at holding onto a lead. This needs to be resolved, and quickly - all 3 promoted clubs are looking in good shape (and are above us in the league) and we have yet to play a top 4 side (sorry Spurs, its not your year) On the flip side Its great to have the likes of Hunt and Kightly returning to what is already a midifield burgeoning with talent... and assuming Doyle and Fletch remain fit we have enough in attack. Jan twishlist: 2X Prem class defender, and recall Koegh from his loan, please

Everything in the garden was rosy prior to the two trips to London. I am a big Mick fan but his tactics lost us the game at Fulham, throwing on more attackers when were had a lead, instead of sticking with the same, preferably, or at least dropping a bit deeper. Spurs are a quality side and will finish in the top six (4th in my opinion) so there is no shame in that defeat. Villa have been in a mess since Mad Mart left but will be out to impress the new boss come the weekend. it's gonna be a toughie and whilst we need to start picking up points from our home games in particular, I can't help but thinking this one is going to be another draw.
