Leg break for Guedioura

It has now been confirmed that Adlene Guedioura did brake his leg during the match with Aston Villa.

The 24-year-old fractured his tibia following a challenge by Steve Sidwell.

I'm told the incident wasn't even shown on BBC's Match Of The Day programme, which if true, seems a strange editorial decision considering the coverage they've given our side following the supposed ill treatment of Joey Barton in the Newcastle game and the unfortunate leg break of Bobby Zamora when we played Fulham.

Guedioura is expected to be out of action for around six month, but despite the news, the midfielder has remained positive.

"It depends on how my recovery goes but I hope to play again this season. I think I`ll be stronger mentally and I`ll work hard physically.

"What`s happened is sad, but I`m not down about it because I know I`ll come back stronger.

"I`ve got time to work hard and when I come back I`ll do my best to fight for Wolves again.' the Algerian told Express & Star following the diagnosis.
