Hunt targets Chelsea

Hunt targets Chelsea

Could Stephen Hunt make his Wolves debut at Chelsea this Saturday?

The 29-year-old who came to Molinuex in the summer from Hull cost £3million but is yet to make a first team appearance due to injury.

McCarthy who had been tracking Hunt since January, was so desperate to sign his man, the transfer went ahead despite the long term injury.

But good things come to those who wait..and Hunt promises to be one of those good things.

"He`s got a real chance of being involved on Saturday," said McCarthy to the Express & Star.

He added: "He`d have liked to have been involved against West Ham but after 45 minutes in the last eight months it was probably a bit much to ask.

"We`ve got 30 league games left. So for the sake of one game, it was about taking the right viewpoint."

Vital Wolves Comment: Having waited so long to have him available I fully understand the desire to see him in action.

But lets make sure he is right before we throw him into the deep end.

"Hunt targets Chelsea" should obviously have been "Hunt targets Cech - again!". But seriously, I love you lot, but I hate that a**hole (as Chris Kamara would say) like beavers!

If he hurts Cech again, I will kill him myself.

How much u wanna bet that Drog trips over his own feet, rolls around in agony for a bit, gets up and pops the pen away?! Pray and hope that we don't get battered. On the bright side, at least we should be on MOTD from the start. Old Gold 4eva!!

There's a fine line between being a "scrappy" player and being a dirty one. Hunt spits on that line and leaps over it. Talented player but I've got no respect for someone who showed no remorse, accident or not, over nearly ending a man's career. He deserves a nice kick in the balls to shake loose some of that stupid pride.
