Hennessey to get shot against United?

Wayne Hennessey will be hoping to get another chance to claim the number 1 jersey at Old Trafford against Manchester United in the Carling Cup.

The Welsh international has pretty much played second fiddle to Marcus Hahnemann since the American took the number one jersey in December last year.

But the 23-year-old has featured in the Carling Cup so far, so perhaps another chance will be his again this time around.

It's just a case of remaining patient for the talented young stopper.

'When you're not playing week-in, week-out, it's hard sometimes, especially when you're up against top players.' Matt Murray told Wolves Official Website.

He continued: 'But Wayne's a young lad and people sometimes forget that.

'He's done really well and in my opinion, he's a top keeper and I honestly think he'll be one of the best keepers over the next 10 years.

Vital Wolves Comment: No-one would blame Wayne Hennessey for being frustrated at Molineux, in fact reports suggested last season that it was very much the case.

But you never know, continue to impress when called upon and an opportunity may well come sooner rather than later.
