Wolves Moxey Slams Wenger

Despite his sterling efforts over the course of the last decade with the club, Chief Executive Jez Moxey for some reason continues to come under fire from a minority of Wolves fans for whatever reasons they choose to dream up during the day. Reading Jez's remarks about Arsenal boss Arse Wenger brought a great smile to my cherub today because it was like standing next to your friend in the pub who's having a gripe.

It may not win him many popularity awards down south but Moxey has suggested the Gunner, complaining once more about the 'tough tackling' his team has to face should stop '...moaning and complaining and bitching about it.'

Moxey's comments come after Jack Wilshire's sending off at the weekend which Wenger tried to defend. He told BBC Radio Five Live 'All he said was exactly the same as every other manager has and yet he is one of the managers who goes on the front foot..... It is an absolute nonsense. Well, I hope he hears this: 'keep your mouth shut','

I'll applaud him for the sterling work he has done for this club, and today, for his forthright remarks.

Complaints on a post card, your friend,

I take it Mr Moxey is an avid Sun reader? Anyone with the capacity to actually read what Wenger is saying and not the sensationalised headlines knows that he is speaking in the wider context of the whole league and beyond - which considering the leg breaks and poor challenges several teams have endured in the beginning of the season must have some merit.

On another note, he did not defend Jack Wilshere, he said he deserved the red card and is being punished from it, Jack himself also came out and said that his challenge was poor, apologised and endeavoured to learn from it.

I'm sure Mr Moxey will find friends in such footballing luminaries & intellectuals as Sam Allardyce & Tony Pulis.
