'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jarvis edges closer to England call?

Following the Manchester United game the call for Matt Jarvis to be included in the England squad appear to have become much louder.

While before it was really only fans of Wolves screaming for his inclusion, in recent weeks he does appear to have gained the attention of other football supporters.

'the guy looked fantastic at times with pace, skill and an ability to beat players, sometimes with ease. Not to mention the delivery of a final ball, something that many of the wingers in the England mix at the moment have trouble with!

'Matt Jarvis for England?

'Well, if he performs regularly for Wolves like he did at Old Trafford then this will surely come, and 'possible' against France in next months friendly...' Rug from Vital England wrote following the game against Manchester United.

As well as England supporters, Jarvo has also gained the attention of the backroom staff in the England set up.

"I was sat next to Fabio`s assistant Baldini at Stoke on Sunday and he spoke highly of him.

"He`s a terrific player and is really important for us. We`re all delighted with him and there can`t be too many better wingers around at the minute.' McCarthy told the Express & Star.

Vital Wolves Comment: It certainly looks likely that if he can continue his form, he could well be getting a call from Fabio in the not so distant future.

it's only a matter of time. he looks like someone who is really enjoying his football at the moment. confidence is oozing from him. im so happy to have hunt back aswell. he will add balance and the 2 wingers are going to be a handful for any team. things are on the up now i think. just need zubar back!! these tough games will only make us stronger and improve our confidence. UP THE WOLVES!! JARVIS FOR ENGLAND!!!!!

Hit the nail on the head there Smithy, Zubar is quality. Decent defender, pacey, loves going forward. Hunt doesn't look sharp yet but that'll come after a few more games. Jarvo without doubt is our most improved player. I'd rather have him than SWP or Lennon fo schizzle!! Anyone know if Karl Henry is available now for the City game?? UTW!!
