Vokes Suffers Injury Setback

Bristol City boss Keith Millen has delivered the bad news that young Wolves striker Sam Vokes has once again suffered damage to his hamstring.

The luckless Welsh striker damaged his hamstring during the summer, and following his recovery was sent out on loan. Vokes' opportunities at City were chopped down by injury, and as he moved closer to return he has allegedly damaged the tendons.

Personally, I would prefer a player who I rate to prove a tremendous asset to our club for many years to come should be back at Molineux under the care of our own medical staff.

Best wishes to Sam in his recovery.

stop rushing him back then he's only young and he's not our best striker so we dont need him back urgently. take the time with the injury or things like this will happen

Agree with you Smithy. He has 15 years ahead of him and I think he will develop into a great player. If he is injured, I would just prefer our own medical staff to be treating him- I thought he had been back with us since he first injured it.
