'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Devastated by United defeat

It's difficult to notice the positives from a last minute defeat to Manchester United, but if the squad can find any, they have to be taken into the game against Arsenal.

Finally the end is insight for this run of fixtures which has seen us face Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United (twice) and tomorrow Arsenal.

Five hard, hard games in the space of 18 days.

No one would have expected us to have got anything out of the games, but we have, we took three points against Manchester City, if it wasn't for 'Fergie time' we would have took a point away from Old Trafford and confidence is high following the good performances, despite the disappointment of the injury time winner for United.

"It`s important how we react to it now. It was a devastating result but there are positives to take from the performance.' Kevin Foley told the Express & Star.

He continued: "We`ve got to carry that into the Arsenal game - another big team - and you never know what can happen.

"We`ve just got to recover and get ready for Wednesday`s game. Arsenal are another big team but we beat Manchester City and went close again at United.'

Vital Wolves Comment: Do you think we can take something from the game against Arsenal tomorrow?

Im starting to sound like a broken record here but anyways here's my 2 pence: I really think we have a chznce of putting one or even two past Arsenal, it all depends how many Ward and co let in at the back. Stears had a good game but to me still seems too inexperienced at this level, Ward is not a defender and Berra... well, I just dont think he's premiership material either. I will go for a 2-2 draw.

I hope I,m wrong but if Walcott plays I think he'll show our left flank at the back is not up to muster. The goal that we conceded at Old trafford to lose the game came from there, look how 'narrow' Ward is when Park received the ball allowing him way to much room.As I've said before its next Saturday the result will matter, those are the games we need to win.

i said this yesterday.. Walcott against Ward scares me. i think it would be worth giving Van Damme a start on the left of midfield to try and stop walcott aswell. jarvis on the right as clichy is vulnerable. and hunt on the bench

Agree with CW and SM. Walcott is already salivating at the prospect!
