'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Pressure doesn't bother McCarthy

McCarthy admits that the Blackpool result makes things harder in our quest to avoid the drop out of the Premier League.

It certainly hasn't helped the nerves of us Wolves fans, with the pressure beginning to build on McCarthy as we fight for our lives at the bottom of the league.

"It`s a huge fight. It was before Saturday. That result made it even harder. All managers know in football, it`s about getting results.' McCarthy told the Express & Star.

He continued: "If you`re not getting results the pressure mounts. I don`t sit and worry about that, though.

"I worry about what we can do to make sure we start getting some points."

So the question is, how do we start getting some points?

Now lets avoid the debate regarding the manager for now, as we've covered that on numerous other articles here on Vital Wolves, so lets talk systems and personnel.

If you were in charge what would you do first?

Van Damme / Moyokolo Craddock and Mancienne at the back - Zubar to replace Mancienen as soon as fit. (in other words any combination that does not include Ward or Stearman) Milijas must start, and at home Doyle and FLetch up front and back to the good ol 451 when away. PS: When Zubar replaces Mancienne, move him to V Dammes position and let him have a run on left wing with Jarvis right - as an alternate to hunt, who seems to be struggling a bit.
